The Price of ProtectionThere was a constant, gentle dripping of water. Day in and day out it fell into the metal sink, each time resulting in a hollow plink as the water drop burst apart into a thousand tiny shards, each one glowing brightly for a brief instant before disappearing into the shadowed drain. It had driven him insane the first few days. He had tried to fix it himself but nothing he tried seemed to work. After the first week he hadn’t even noticed it. Thanks a bunch for the comment on my Reno pic. Yeah; the tats blend in with his hair wayyyy too well--which is why I hate colouring them as such, so I may go back to scars. But I digress! Thank you again.

Ah, thank you. I've had the ol' blue Kaiba icon for well over a year; I felt it was time for a change! I may just stick to scars from here on out...it aded a level of depth to Reno, methinks.

I actually like the concept of them being scars a little better, partially because I feel the need to hit Reno for getting tattoos on his face that are so close in color to his hair. And I figure it doesn't matter what you draw them as, so long as you keep drawing the boy

Speaking of which, I'm loving the Reno/Tifa work you've been putting up lately. It's been awhile since I've seen any artwork concerning that pairing and the way you portray it has been stunning. You make me want to stop writing and go back to drawing something more than everyday doodles. Keep it up, I can't wait to see more!
